Wishing I was there today

I'm just having an off day today. Am wishing I could sit at the beach all day. That is one thing that sucks about having moved to Colorado. In other news: I'm taking Morgan and Harrison this weekend to go and see my grandma one last time. We'll fly out Friday afternoon and come home on Sunday. I'm looking forward to the trip, yet dreading it all at the same time. This might be some of the reason I'm having an off day. Who knows? I just wish I could sit and stare at the waves.

I'm going to steal an idea from Debra. She posts her high of the day on most of her posts. Today, I'm not feeling so high, but I'm thinking it's the perfect day to start doing this.

High: Harrison is 10 pounds. My little heffer baby. He is round and rolly and has huge cheeks. he is my high today.

I love chubby babies. Mine was a chunker right out of the gate.

I've got my internet back, and you are following me on Twitter. I'm tigge, the girl with the slurpee.

I love the beach. It was sad to see where I spent the summer destroyed by Ike. They'll rebuild and I'll go back, but it won't be the same.

The beach is the best place for contemplation, and it seems like there's some cure for the blues in that salty air... Wishing you a great trip this weekend! Cheer up :)

Safe travels lady. I admit it will be harder to stalk you when you're on an airplane with two kids so you'll have to take care of yourself so it will be easier to stalk you later. hehe Perhaps this will be my challenge next week..trying to figure out how to make it difficult for you to stalk me back. hehehehee

Hopefully the children will give you something nice to watch on the trip. I like traveling with mine because a darned truck stop seems to intrigue them. Well, it intrigues everyone but in my kids case they're just interested in how a gas station has a shower, gas station, restaurant, wifi room and a pizza bar all in one 500 square foot building. Hopefully your kids will find their "truck stop". Only, you know, with less smelly men folk.

I miss the beach so much. And this weekend my mother is coming so I won't safely or legally be able to drive over there if I hope to tolerate her. So I guess I'll wait and go some other time. Hopefully soon, though. There is something in the air at the beach. The breeze is just so refreshing and it's a big reminder that it's all pretty insignificant.
